True Coffee Deserves True Flavor

My old friend Crowdtap is at it again. They have been partnered with the Folgers brand for a while now.  Folgers has truly grown as a brand over the past few years and now with this product, they have show to be a true competitor in this market. My best memories of the Folgers brand was an old commercial where a college student comes home for Christmas and wakes up his family by making a pot of Folgers coffee. But I regress. I love these Folgers Flavors coffee enhancers.  They come in 4 varieties, Vanilla, Mocha, Hazelnut, and Caramel. You can use as small an amount or as large an amount to bring the flavor out in your coffee to suit your needs.  The aroma of a truly hot cuppa when adding these is reminiscent of a true coffeehouse brewing which can get pricey if done every day.  Here is a less expensive alternative that allows you to get your much needed flavor rush while enjoying a casual java.  At least that's my opinion. The Vanilla is my f...

We LOVE Colorful shoelaces

Do you love your chucks? skips? kicks? Well, I do!  If it weren't for having to go to work every day and wear corporate shoes I would live in my sneakers!  My biggest problem has always been that the sneakers come in awesome colors but the laces are always 'white', White white white..blah blah translation boring!  I always wished there were different styles, lengths, thicknesses and yes COLOR!!!  Well, thanks to this company We Love Colors - you can customize your athletic shoes, laced deck shoes etc.  with that splash of color you have always dreamed of.  The selection of colors available along with stlyes and lengths seem to be limitless.  Solids, gradients, thick, thin, short and long.  If you cannot find something that suits you then you are the pickiest person on earth. I received a gradient pair or green and blue, a solid yellow pair and a coral color.  I promptly put the coral ones in my black skips and they looked great and update...

Dispose No More - CupVerdi REUSABLE Single Cup Coffee Filter

I LOVE my single cup coffee brewer.  I have stated this many times to many people!  It is great in a household where we are 2 people who do not drink coffee on an everyday basis but brewing an entire pot is way too much. What is also way too much is the cost of the coffee cups that you need to use in the brewer. I was excited to get this product to try and review.  It allowed me to use my own coffee flavors that I prefer, or if I bought whole bean coffee I ground it up and used the grounds in this single cup filter. There is a max fill line on the inside that allows you to put in as little coffee as you want or max fill capacity. The screening on the filter is so fine that it did not allow any grounds to escape like some other filters I have tried.  Also if you follow the fill allowance the grounds did not explode from the top either as I have had happen with others.  The lid seal was just tight enough to use but easy enough to open to fill or clean....

Tissues Aren't Just For Noses Anymore

Crowdtap, Kleenex who knew you could put the 2 together and come up with another brand sampling for an everyday item such as tissues. Well, that's exactly what this one is about.  I received a full size box of Kleenex everyday tissues just like the one in the picture at the top of the blog.  Now, yes I will agree it is summer and allergy season and it never hurts to have 4 or 5 boxes of tissues scattered in various places around the house other than the bathroom.  However, the type, the brand, the design of the box...these are all just as important as the quantity.  Then lastly, there is the quality of the tissue itself and whether or not it can stand up to its intended purpose and if there is even the slightest chance you could use it for other things. Kleenex is a trusted name in my household.  I use the products faithfully.I have always come up with other uses that I didnt think of previously. Recently, I started keeping a to go pack in...

Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. When I was a child and had the beginnings of a scratchy throat or dust cough, I remember my mother handing me a Pine Bros Honey or Cherry Softish Throat drop. They were a balm to my throat and a memory made to cherish.  My mother was the only person who knew what to give me when I had these little non serious ailments. Upon popping the drop in my mouth I would let it slowly dissolve and it felt like the melting drop was coating my throat with something to stop the tickle or scratch and it was way better than those nasty throat sprays or prescriptions by the dreaded doctors. The honey flavored were actually my favorite because to me the taste was like fresh honey from the jar just in a manageable drop without the stickiness and mess of jar honey.  I could really savor the flavor and even the aroma was like honeysuckle flowers!  The cherry ones were also good but more tart rather than sweet which made the p...

Finally!!!- Some Natural Pain Relief in 2013! Noxicare™ Natural Pain Relief Cream Review and Giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. It Works! I have arthritis in my hips and knees and have since I was 19 (for those of you who do not know me personally). I am immune to so many topical pain relievers and really do not like pills, nor the overpowering odors of existing creams, gels and powders. The doctors have suggested the "S" word (surgery) several times and I will do whatever I can to avoid it! Over the counter remedies, lotions and potions will work for a time but then you just get used to it (like over use of antibiotics and they just stop working). Physical Therapy and more doctors are expensive. When I received Noxicare to try I was expecting the same old same old. Instead, I got a cream made with all natural ingredients, that had a pleasant odor which dissipates after a few minutes. The cream goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly and worked fairly quickly. In my case I only had to apply the cream 2X a day (once when I got up and once...

The Great UGLee Pen! Ergonomic Pen Review + Giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. Okay Readers.  Once again I am back doing a review and this time there is a giveaway to go with it!  This is for the UGLee Pen. You ask What is an UGLee Pen?  It is an ergonomic pen created for writers by a real physician Dr. James Lee who did lots of research on wrist and hand pain from writing. I decided to try this comfort pen because I am always scribbling notes or writing something and always feel like my hand is not comfortable with my writing utensil and I have spent lots of money on so called ergonomic pens and have not found that they felt any different than standard writing tools.  When I received this pen I saw the differences immediately just from the look of it.  The feeling on the grip was comfortable and the pen was very lighweight.  When I started writing the ink flowed smoothly and I was able to continually write for a short while until I reached the bottom of my page with...
