Comfortable Socks, Bedding and Underwear by Wearever Review + Giveaway

Support Defeat Diabetes Foundation with Wearever Purchases this December

I received socks and a bed pad from Wearever to test. I am therefore going to write separate paragraphs for each product review so you can understand the full dimension of my testing for this review.

1) The diabetic socks - I received 3 pairs of solid Black socks to wear and see if I like them. Well I didn't just like them I LOVED them. I hate tight socks around my calf area which cut off your circulation and most sock manufacturers do not realize that not everyone has skinny calves.  Yeah from the front you can't tell my calves are a bit large but when I put on my hosiery I want to be comfortable and feel like I have a little leg room without the sock falling either. Well these socks were just that!  Not too light or too heavy in the fabric configuration, not too big or small in the toe to heel area, and absolutely not too loose or tight around the ankle and calf.  I was able to put them on in the morning to go to work and wear them for a normal day duration without feeling like I needed to change into no socks and a pair of sandals in my office in the middle of winter as I have done in the past.  As Goldilocks would have said "These socks are just right!"

2) The bed pad - Okay, I'm a little young to worry about incontinence, however as a woman there is something I worry about much more once a month during the 'female time'.  I keep disposable bed pads on hand for those occasions.  The problem is disposable means $$$. I really liked that this pad was larger than the disposables that I keep on hand.  It was a nice plaid fabric and had a solid color underside.  It was thicker than the disposables and I did not feel it underneath me when laying on it. It stayed in place where I put it and even as a restless sleeper it never felt uncomfortable or got in the way in the middle of the night.  Because it is a cloth fabric the other great thing is that it is washable and reusable.  It washed nicely, dried quickly and still looked like it came right out of the package new. I would recommend anyone who suffers from my worries or incontinence could use this bed pad without  any trouble and that they would recommend it to their peers as well.

Strong, Functional Umbrella

This is absolutely the best umbrella I have owned in a long time!  It is functional and fashionable!  I bought the turquoise blue because I am so tired of the sea of black umbrellas I see every time it rains.  I wish more people would have bright colored umbrellas to brighten up those dreary rainy days.  But I regress... This umbrella is different from the moment you get it home.  You can see the difference in just the opening of it when you see the sleeve it comes in and the material the sleeve is made of.  The umbrella is made of that same material. It is thicker than your standard umbrellas you can see that and the material feel is soft yet durable. When you see the handle it has the auto open/close button and a wrist strap.  The feel of the handle is almost like those plush microfiber materials yet made of plastic.  It felt very comfortable in hand and did not slip. When you finally open the umbrella there is a black 'powdercoat' on...

UnJunk your Junk Food

UNREAL...Its the only word for this type of candy with no Artificial color, no Artificial Flavors, No Corn Syrup and No Hydrogenated oils. When I first got into this BzzAgent campaign to try this new candy, I was a little leery that anything that takes out all the bad stuff that makes junk food taste good would probably taste awful.  I signed up anyhow thinking what could it hurt. Upon arrival of my Bzzkit full of coupons for these candies, I immediately went in search of them.  They were a little difficult to find at first, but I suppose most new products are.  I finally found them at a store in New Jersey near my office.   I purchased the Unreal 41: Candy Coated Chocolates, Unreal 5: Chocolate Caramel Nougat Bar, and Unreal 77: Peanut Butter Cups.  The packaging looks like an 80's video game with a make on a black background.  The 'maze' actually spells UNREAL.  I took them home and stuck them in the refrigerator as I like...
