For those of you discerning coffee lovers out there who also prefer being more environmentally friendly, I really think this product is for you.
I have probably done it all when it comes to coffee, the 12 cup brewer, the 8 cup brewer, the 4 cup brewer, the single cup brewer, the on the go brewer, the single coffee bag similar to teabags, the inexpensive and expensive coffee house coffees, etc, etc. All of these methods being time consuming, expensive or just not true coffee tasting coffee (too weak, too strong, too bitter, not hot enough...).
The real dreamy coffee taste I want to recreate are the coffees I had traveling through Europe. I can still remember sitting in a cafe in Paris right near the Eiffel Tower a few years ago enjoying the sights and sounds of the Seine rushing by, tourist watching (although I was also a tourist) and enjoying a cup of coffee in the mid morning hours. I had just about given up on the luxurious coffee taste of my overseas trips, that is until I tried this French Press.
I followed the instructions on the box carefully measuring my favorite fresh ground coffee which I ground myself using the direction of coarse ground coffee so as not to clog the screen system. I poured the water in and waited the recommended 5 minutes. I then started to slowly and evenly press the plunger down to filter the grinds to the bottom of the pot and once completed, poured my coffee into a dainty demitasse cup. The taste was strong but yet it completely brought me back to my travels from so long ago that I was almost there again!
If you follow the directions to the letter, you will absolutely get a fabulous cup of coffee.
Yes, I know that this is quite larger than a standard 8 oz or 12 oz French Press but for impromptu visits by neighbors or for a coffee klatch it is a fast easy way to make coffee that tastes great! I can recommend that you purchase this item at Amazon.com here.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
