GLADE - NEW AIR FRESHENERS - HOME DECOR

Okay...so we all want our homes to smell fresh and clean. We have all tried those aerosol sprays that cloud the air and have overpowering scents, the air freshener solids that never seem to last, the scented candles which can be dangerous if left unattended, the oil diffusers (heated with a candle), incense cones and sticks (matches involved), and plug in oil burners which take electricity and an outlet space that could be used for something more important.

After all these, Glade has come up with an amazing scent product that has made things simple and beautiful! The new Expressions collection has two types of air fresheners a stand alone oil diffuser that is refillable and a really nice mist spray that is also refillable. Both are in a really nice presentation and can be kept out and not hidden from guests you will have! They can be incorporated into your decor all year long.

At the present time, the collection is available in 4 different scent combinations.  The scents are Cotton/Italian Mandarin, Fuji Apple/Cardamom, Lavender/Juniper Berry and Pineapple/Mangosteen.  I have purchased all 4, thanks to BzzAgent and my most recent campaign from them. I love to try new household cleaners and items that make the house smell fresh.

In our dining area, I chose the Fuji Apple/Cardamom diffuser to try first.  I took it out of the package, followed the simple set-up and immediately loved it! The scent reminded me of my younger years and the apple pies that were baked by my mother constantly at this time of the year.  It took up no room on the breakfront and blended well with the decor.

In the laundry room, we chose the Cotton/Italian Mandarin. The scent is light and airy and reminded me of folding freshly washed laundry that was hung on a clothesline to dry.

In the powder room, the Lavender/Juniper Berry, had a woodsy scent that was reminiscent of open meadows and fields of wildflowers.

Finally, the den got treated with the Pineapple/Mangosteen diffuser and for a quick burst of scent in all the spaces each room also got a spray matching the diffuser scent.  The spray is a very fine mist and a little actually went a long way.

The diffusers lasted slightly longer than the promised 30 days and I refilled all of them and cannot wait to see if Glade adds any more fragrances to this particular line. By using the spray and diffuser in tandem with each other, I found the scents stayed longer and actually covered larger areas.

The good memories, actually the best memories! Thank you Glade for the reminders and Thank you BzzAgent for the chance to test and talk about these items!

Coffee Lovers Unite!

For those of you discerning coffee lovers out there who also prefer being more environmentally friendly, I really think this product is for you. I have probably done it all when it comes to coffee, the 12 cup brewer, the 8 cup brewer, the 4 cup brewer, the single cup brewer, the on the go brewer, the single coffee bag similar to teabags, the inexpensive and expensive coffee house coffees, etc, etc.  All of these methods being time consuming, expensive or just not true coffee tasting coffee (too weak, too strong, too bitter, not hot enough...). The real dreamy coffee taste I want to recreate are the coffees I had traveling through Europe.  I can still remember sitting in a cafe in Paris right near the Eiffel Tower a few years ago enjoying the sights and sounds of the Seine rushing by, tourist watching (although I was also a tourist) and enjoying a cup of coffee in the mid morning hours.  I had just about given up on the luxurious coffee taste of my overseas trips...

Strong, Functional Umbrella

This is absolutely the best umbrella I have owned in a long time!  It is functional and fashionable!  I bought the turquoise blue because I am so tired of the sea of black umbrellas I see every time it rains.  I wish more people would have bright colored umbrellas to brighten up those dreary rainy days.  But I regress... This umbrella is different from the moment you get it home.  You can see the difference in just the opening of it when you see the sleeve it comes in and the material the sleeve is made of.  The umbrella is made of that same material. It is thicker than your standard umbrellas you can see that and the material feel is soft yet durable. When you see the handle it has the auto open/close button and a wrist strap.  The feel of the handle is almost like those plush microfiber materials yet made of plastic.  It felt very comfortable in hand and did not slip. When you finally open the umbrella there is a black 'powdercoat' on...
