FAB New Product Discovery!!! CoverGirl & Olay

So here's another cool product that I received from BzzAgent to try and I am so excited!

I don't usually stray away from my tried and true make-up products that I have been using for years, however, as I am aging, I am noticing that my skin tone and texture are changing even though I have had the same beauty routine my entire life and it has always worked.

CoverGirl and Olay are very well known names in the beauty industry so I figured why not give a new product a try? What could it hurt after all?

Well I'm hooked!!!!

Liquid foundations usually seem oily to me.  I go to makeup counters and talk to consultants, have quick  in-store makeovers, yet I never seem to be able to repeat the experience at home after spending tons of money on the products.  That's why I was so excited to get in on this campaign to try the liquid foundation and pressed powder.

I have been using the products now for 6 days and have been pleased with the overall results.  I find my skin is more moisturized and that certain dry patchy areas where I usually apply less makeup (as it appears cakey in those areas) have cleared to where I have a smooth application of the foundation.

Using the pressed powder over the foundation went on in a smooth silky fashion and really finishes the overall appearance.  It felt satiny and when my friends saw me, they thought I just  had a department store makeover!

Thanks BzzAgent for a great campaign, and thanks to CoverGirl and Olay fora great melding of the minds to bring on a truly spectacular product.

Strong, Functional Umbrella

This is absolutely the best umbrella I have owned in a long time!  It is functional and fashionable!  I bought the turquoise blue because I am so tired of the sea of black umbrellas I see every time it rains.  I wish more people would have bright colored umbrellas to brighten up those dreary rainy days.  But I regress... This umbrella is different from the moment you get it home.  You can see the difference in just the opening of it when you see the sleeve it comes in and the material the sleeve is made of.  The umbrella is made of that same material. It is thicker than your standard umbrellas you can see that and the material feel is soft yet durable. When you see the handle it has the auto open/close button and a wrist strap.  The feel of the handle is almost like those plush microfiber materials yet made of plastic.  It felt very comfortable in hand and did not slip. When you finally open the umbrella there is a black 'powdercoat' on...

The Scent of Christmas - All Year!

I love the smells of Christmas!  Pine trees, cold air, snow, and of course, Peppermint! I recently discovered the benefits of pure essential oils for health, wellness and home uses.  It was recommended to me that I try using an oil product in my diffusers/humidifiers in order to help clear up my sinuses.  Right now it is cold and flu season although it is unseasonably warm in the NorthEast.   I found this product and researched the company and learned a lot about them and the products they make.  They are community oriented and based in the United States.  I have used this now for a few weeks and find that my friends were spot on.  It soothes my nasal issues and I find that I breathe easier.   The scent is strong but not overbearing.  Some scents can make you cough and your eyes burn, but not these.  I find it brings great memories of Christmastime and heath and home. It also is great to ward off those little rodents in your h...

True Coffee Deserves True Flavor

My old friend Crowdtap is at it again. They have been partnered with the Folgers brand for a while now.  Folgers has truly grown as a brand over the past few years and now with this product, they have show to be a true competitor in this market. My best memories of the Folgers brand was an old commercial where a college student comes home for Christmas and wakes up his family by making a pot of Folgers coffee. But I regress. I love these Folgers Flavors coffee enhancers.  They come in 4 varieties, Vanilla, Mocha, Hazelnut, and Caramel. You can use as small an amount or as large an amount to bring the flavor out in your coffee to suit your needs.  The aroma of a truly hot cuppa when adding these is reminiscent of a true coffeehouse brewing which can get pricey if done every day.  Here is a less expensive alternative that allows you to get your much needed flavor rush while enjoying a casual java.  At least that's my opinion. The Vanilla is my f...
