1 Essential Lesson - Why you need Kleenex Pocket Packs!

It's that time of the year. If you live in the Northeast or Midwest you know what I mean.  The weather is changing.  Rapidly.  I mean I heard some areas already got small snowfalls and it is not even November yet. Well, when you have been in 70 degree weather and suddenly it all goes to the 30's or 40's you are bound to be more susceptible to the ever dreaded cold or flu that is 'going around'. I live in those areas and realize it is time to stock up on a few necessities.  Tissues for the house and Pocket Packs for on the go.   I received 3 Kleenex Pocket Packs with these cool new designs for the Kleenex new campaign "Someone Needs One".  My favorite is the XOXO design where you can write your own 'anything'. They are fresh and modern while keeping to the overall brand view of caring. Kleenex has always been and continues to be a trusted name in my household.  I use their products loyally. Kleenex tissues are soft and strong and live

A Little Piece of France...here in NYC

I remember Paris.  This is New York.Paris is the "City of Lights" New York is the "city that never sleeps" In comparing both of these cities, there is always so much to see and do and...EAT. There is fabulous cuisine around every corner, even down to the smallest section of the city where you would least expect it. In NYC I give you Paname! It was my birthday and I wanted to spend a day in 'my hometown.  Sounds hokey, I know. However as I said explore, find something you have not seen or done in a long time or even something you have never done and go out and do that very thing.  It will make you happy. My spouse and I did just that.  We spent the morning  trolling through a few museums, made our way to see one Central Park landmark and ended our evening at this French restaurant called Paname (which is the slang for Paris). The menus offered ranged from a standard mix and match to a 3-course Prix Fixe meal.  Seafood is their specialty and they

Over the Rainbow - Stylus

Giveaway Service kindly accepted me to review this stylus set from Acid Labs LLC. I know many people may say that a stylus is a thing of the past, however I disagree.  Everyone's body chemistry is different and I have a very hard time getting  screens to react to my touch.  I am not sure if it is the temperature of my skin or what. That's why I need a stylus for my tablet and sometimes even my cell phone when i am relaxing and searching the web  These stylus are cool to the touch, lightweight and glide easily over the screen.  There was no drag while using them and the screens reacted very well to the fine point of the stylus.  They come very nicely packaged in a poly/vinyl plastic pouch with a zip seal closure and a metal grommet in the top. There was even a bonus of a small screen cleaning cloth to ensure the screen stays clear from prints or marks! This set would make a very nice stocking stuffer for your favorite tech junkie!  I know i sure love them! Visit pro

Liquid Chalk Markers - Awesome!

I love to review products like these Liquid Chalk Markers!  I have never used these types of products before but had heard about them in the past. I love all the different surfaces that I can write on such as glass mirrors and car windows and then erase what I have written with no remaining residue.  They were great to support my local sports team by writing on the windshields and then wiping it off when the game ended.  I have used them to write on chalkboard labels for place settings or other crafty projects and then be able to use the labels again!  I like the way they write because they really come out legibly on all these surfaces and do not fade unless you actually remove the writing. So how do I use these? These work similarly to 'paint' pens.  You have to prime the tip of the pen to release the 'ink' or in this case chalk.  First shake the pen real well, then hold it and press the tip down gently onto a piece of paper until you see the 'ink'
